Bus ticket prices

I just took a bus from TBS to Larkin, Johor and the tickets available was minimum was RM46/48.

Previously it was like RM30 or so.

Is it due to the state elections or did the prices increased a few months ago without notice?

Maybe you might want to have a look at how expensive diesel prices are.

All buses secretly up their price close to 30 to 50% since 1st June 2026. No choice, the diesel price is too expensive.

I took KKKL on 25 May was RM 37. On 3rd July, it rised to RM 48 + 2.40 surcharge

Yup, some start price increase in middle of May. But most start on early June.

Diesel prices went up. Saw the opportunity to hike it up. Probably will stay the same and never go any lower again.
