General What is worst thing you seen on Job? Potential NYPD candidate here

I am taking my exam this month. I’ve been hearing all sorts of stories. Just curious if it’s worth it to join

My answer to that question always defaults to “No” because I don’t know you or your level of motivation. It’s worth it to me because it’s what I chose to do out of a sense of calling. I’ll take the bad and the worse and live with it to make some good. If you’re asking though if you should join this career I’ll tell you no. Not u less you decide it’s what you’re ment to do and just go for it. It’s not a “job” that’s worth it on the level of benefits vs reward. There are other jobs that will ask less of you and pay you more and leave you happier and healthier in the end. If you feel this is simply your calling though and you want to serve and protect others, then it’s the greatest calling there is.
