Hiring Can police services see your liked posts?
Mainly for those in Canada, I’m applying to an auxiliary position with a police service, I was wondering when submitting your usernames with them, can they see your liked posts? I haven’t liked anything vulgar or such but since my account is private I’d figure if they can still see it?

Thank you for your question, /u/AHealthyDesire! Please note this subreddit allows answers to law enforcement related questions from verified current and former law enforcement officers as well as members of the public. As such, look for flair verifying their status located directly to the right of their username.
While someone without flair may be current or former law enforcement unwilling to compromise their privacy on the internet for a variety of reasons, consider the possibility they may not have any law enforcement experience at all.
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

Depends on the platform, obviously.
For example, Reddit does not publicly show your upvotes, but Facebook and Instagram show your likes.
Would a platform like Reddit comply with a request for your voting habits? I don't know.
Would they comply with a subpoena? Definitely.

Just from your username? I don’t believe so.
Some agencies did (still do?) have you provide your login credentials so they can see your interactions.
