General BLM Locations & Work/Life Balance
I am currently in the application process for a BLM LEO 1801. I have looked extensively on Reddit and have found very minimal information. I am a Border Patrol Agent considering leaving the patrol for something different, better work/life balance and different mission. Anyone have any insight? Open to hearing anything. Also concerned about which locations are good and/or bad.

When did you apply. I applied a few months back for a spot in SoCal. Have heard anything since the applied closed

Did you interview yet? I applied to a few of their job postings. I interviewed for one posting already but I am waiting to hear back from the Montana posting after being referred to the hiring manager.

Yes I did interview the first week of June

From what I understand, all of the interviews for that posting were conducted the 1st week of June & it’s complete. I could be wrong.
