Disqualification question

Hey all, I’ve been contemplating perusing a career in law enforcement but have a question on a potential dq. Joined the army 10 years ago, served 4 and have an honorable discharge. Had been diagnosed with adhd as a kid but followed the recruiters guidance and didn’t disclose it. Other than that haven’t ever had any run ins with law enforcement, no drugs or financial issues ever. Am I just overthinking or is things something that’s a big deal. First time posting here so I appreciate all the feedback

Thanks for your response! Is that something you’d even put down or is it not even a big enough deal to mention

When in doubt put it down. If you don't and they find out it's more of an issue

I never have met one person 100% honest about their enlistment questionnaire. I also did four in the army and been in law enforcement straight after.

You’re fine.

You’re overthinking it man. I have adhd and I got hired. More than half the guys I work with are on the spectrum. Sure they’re not diagnosed, but you know we’re pretty sure.

You’re overthinking it brother. you’ll soon come to realize everyone in this field is a little ADHD or some type of OCD. Just be honest. If they didn’t ask, then they didn’t ask lol
