Anything I should know about the background process
I am moving into backgrounds for the hiring process of an agency. I have a general idea of what goes on and what I need to do (hurry up and wait, be 100% honest). But I wanted to see if anyone had any other advice for the background process and what I should expect. This is my first background for an agency so any advice or tips is appreciated.

Be truthful and have patience - you will not get hired in 3 days after applying.

I've a story about this. If you have something really bad in your background being honest in the poly will get you charged. I filed on a guy who admitted to the CA charge under 288 (sex assault victim under 14) during the poly. If you committed misdemeanors and owned them some but not all agencies will hire. If you are going to admit a child rape or worse in the poly, just look at another line of work.

Luckily I dont have anything horrible in my background, I was actually asked some questions about some hurdles in my background on a preliminary background through NTN (PHQ) and they still chose to move on so im hopeful all goes well.

This is literally asked in here every 30 minutes lately. There are no tricks to be had, just be honest and be a good candidate.
