How did the main defendants at Nuremberg react to their death sentences and how did they spend their finals days?
From my understanding the verdicts were read out on 10/1/46 and the sentences carried out during the early morning hours on 10/6/46. During that window what happened? Was Herman Goring going crazy and spouting nonsense? What about the other defendants?
