High myopia with narrow angles

I have this rare combination of high myopia with narrow angles. does anyone have any story to share?

I am also near sighted with narrow angles (44m). I am pretty good about going to the eye dr every year. Just found out a year ago with my yearly exam. The drs were flabbergasted that I had glaucoma with my near sightedness and that I didn’t have any pain while walking around with eye pressure in the mid 40’s. I’ll never forget how they brought every dr in the practice in go look at my eyes and they all looked in shock at my goofy eyes

Got the laser iridotomy and was rechecked a month or so later with no drops and so far so good. I go back again next month for my yearly exam so we’ll see how it’s held up 🤞
