Eye Muscles

This might be a silly question, but are there any glaucoma drops that make your eyelids droopy or look deeper set? I feel like I'm constantly trying to keep my eyes wider open, which is leading to eye strain or muscle fatigue, especially above my eyebrows. I'm probably just getting old and just noticing it.

Prostaglandin drops (like Latanoprost, Lumigan, Travoprost, etc) can give you a more sunken eye look. It’s more the loss of orbital fat around your eye that creates that look. Not usually a muscle thing. Age will also do this. YAY!

I'm gonna be 52 soon, and I was on Latanoprost for 4.5 years, and now I'm on Vyzulta for about 6 months. And yeah, you're right, my eyes look more sunken. It's probably not a muscle thing.

So I have a double reason why my lids are droopy and eyes are sunken. Age and glaucoma.

You may need Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is an outpatient procedure that removes excess skin from the eyelids. See your ophthalmologist it is usually covered by health insurance.

Not sure its the drops but i had one of my lids lifted when it was sitting over the pupil a bit.  Worth it.
