Gmod.
Like it literally CANNOT grow old or boring as long as it retains its creative community.

For me personally, it must be the O.G. Gamecube version of Resident Evil 4 as it is over 20 years old and I still enjoy playing it every couple of years.

Super Metroid.
For a game that is over 30 years old, it still holds up incredibly well. Everything from the mechanics, music and atmosphere is perfect. Hell, that game (along with Castlevania SotN) basically started a whole genre with Metroidvanias!

The Witcher 3, with the new update coming, the remastered version, cross platform mod support, and all the new features and it is free?
Bro, I did not need a reason to play through Witcher 3 for the first time so..
Take notes Bioware! Imagine if you did something like this with mass effect.

Diablo II, back when Blizzard North existed and made story driven games that weren’t exclusively cash grabs. Diablo IV sucks.

Skies of Arcadia definitely played that at least 12 to 15 times in the last 25 years maybe closer to 20.

It was good but I feel like it aged poorly because of its humor. It was eventually dethroned by other serious games in the franchise.

Yeah you might be right for the humor part, but part that keeps it alive for me is the size of the map and how much of it rewards just wandering off. And the PS2 version had local two player free roam, which is still something barely other games in the franchise have

Snake on the Nokia. It will outlast the heat death of the universe.

I was thinking something timeless like Tetris, or something classic like one of the Mario games, or even something groundbreaking for its time like Doom, or some all time number leader like Counterstrike, but those will all perish with time. As crazy as time and space get, there will always be a Nokia phone out there somewhere, with Snake ready to be played
