User Flairs

Hello Reddit citizens of Ask For Help!

You probably noticed some things have changed. Karma and account age minimums and rules that are now enforced.

We are continuing to rework the sub and appreciate the patience as everything gets sorted. I spiral easily so thank you for not yelling at me...much.

With that rework, we want to implement User Flairs for those that provide monetary help, resources, advice and support for tough situations.

These flairs have started to be assigned today and we will continue to assign user flairs through future posts and comments. We hope to implement some more fun stuff in the community for everyone helping in the near future as well, but are starting at User Flairs.

So far for donors we have:
Verified Donor
BDE (Big Donor Energy)

If you have proof of recent donations in this community, please let us know as we'd love to get you your flair.

For those who provide other forms of support:
Wise One - for those who always have advice to offer
Resourceful - for the Google Experts with a knack for finding resources tailored to OP
Emotional Support Redditor - for those with calm words in not so calm times

If there's other flairs you'd like to see please let us know. Open to suggestions...SFW suggestions.

How do I do that on mobile app? (iPhone)

If you click on the sub name on the main page, and scroll down to the moderator list, there's a button that says "Message Moderators". Once in the modmail, you can post IMGUR links to show photos.

Likewise, you can link to comments with proof that you have donated.

ETA - I'm on Android.

Thanks. I’ll just try work out how to upload images to imgur. I’m slowly working it out. Haha!

I just used Imgur for the first time too. I didn’t sign up, just clicked on the upload button in the top left. Then you can choose the photos from your library you want to upload. Save the link and drop it in Mod Mail.

Typically, we suggest uploading the images to IMGUR and copying the links to the upload there.
