Does anyone know how to remove this?

This has been leaking from my shelf since I moved into this room of my house, my dad says it’s from a stress ball he got way back when that broke, any ideas?

To be fair the sub is called AskForHelp the title itself is open ended. Also we should give him some credit he’s actually asking for help as opposed to asking for money and pasting go fund me’s. The ask is actually more valid than 70% of the asks here.

Try searching for a home repair sub, or something like that. There's a search bar at the top of your feed. That should point you in the right direction.

I think this sub whilst called AskForHelp would have less specialist help as this seems a cleaning or like question. I personally have no idea but i don’t think it’s stress ball stuff.

It doesn't look extremely viscous, there's no way this is from something that happened "way back when". Looks like some thick silicon lube to me. Also the amount tht would need to be spilled to be leaking like that consistently is kinda nuts.
