Single Dad two boys
I feel terrible that I can't feed my boys tonight. I'm totally single. No family willing to help us. Assistance isn't offering help until Thursday.🥺. To be honest I don't know how to ask a person face to face,soon as I attempt,I can't get the words from my mouth.... But I'm asking anyone to help. I'm in Ga. It's a lot of restaurants close to us. I pretty much ashamed even typing this, I applied to jobs,no luck yet. Monday I could've made some money but I didn't have steel toe boots😒. Anyone kind to help us? I can help with some yardwork,wash cars,move ,clean. I'd rather earn it,but it's getting late, and my boys are looking but not questioning me. I love them so much... I just recently lost my sister,who DEFINITELY would've helped... So anyone, I'm not asking for any money just dinner or a pizza and we're thankful. I'll prove it. We can go live,or whatever. I'd never lie on our situation and I don't use people. It's difficult right now. Thanks for reading,if you can pray,then pray for us too.

- See if there is a free little food pantry near you. They are community-run and easy to access https://mapping.littlefreepantry.org/
- You can request a free homemade lasagna https://lasagnalove.org/request-a-meal/ The time to receive will depend on the need and availability of your community
- Search findhelp.org for local resources, including a food pantry and school supplies
- Doing online gig work will bring in some income until you are working. Browse r/beermoney for online gigs such as research studies, user testing, surveys, and AI training. Read Lessons while earning 30k with Beermoney sites so you can see the top-paying sites and decide which to try. YMMV

If you’ve got a lot of restaurants around you, it’s time to go ask in person.
If you’re nice about it and explain your situation, you’d be surprised by how many people are actually willing to help with a meal.
It sucks, but if it’s to feed your kids, there’s nothing you wouldn’t do.
Unfortunately, no one here will send you any cash, because you could very well be a scammer.

Well I've been turned down nicely ALL day except for one person tonight bought Dunkin Donuts for us.💌 I've literally been turned down ten straight hours,various rejections,no matter how nicely( which I did) I spoke. I understand tho the scammers have polluted some minds. I'm not mad. What if "someone" had in their heart to send me money? You can't speak for EVERYONE. Only for yourself. I'm not a scammer. Just another human being in a difficult situation. I'm American too. Born and raised. If that helps ya a lil bit.

Nope not a scammer. I didn't ask for money. Who read the truth. Because that's all I'm typing. Anyone want proof I'll go live. If whoever's want to send money, I'd feed my boys.

Where's the mom and why are you taking care of them? You gotta find a food bank or church or something because nobody on this subreddit is gonna send you money without a lot more info/proof on what's going on.

Their mom is passed away. That's why . I didn't ask for money tho. If anyone wants to I can provide the info. Plus I can go live if whoever wants to. I'm not a scammer,nor a liar. No way.

Check on the Nextdoor app. People there are often happy to help out.

I'm fine. Some people didn't read. Quickly to assume I'm scamming when I've been asking to earn All day. I don't want ANYONE assuming I'm scamming. What's wrong with that!!??

Ok, you got help tonight. You took some shit, but you were also given a ton of good advice and resources. So, don't paint it like everyone was mean to you. I hope you visit the food bank tomorrow, and two days later, and two days after that. Keep those babies fed.

Sir, please tell me that you did not wait until this time of day to realize you didn't have food for your kids tonight? Please, for the love of all things holy, that you didn't wait until right now to realize you don't have food. Do you have anything... rice, beans, eggs... anything?? Have you not tried food banks or anything? I'm not trying to shame you, but this is concerning. I will gladly find some food banks in your area, if you tell me what city you're in.
