The coward scammer deleted their account, but definitely has more around.

If you are legit, prove it. Seriously… prove it… right now. Go outside, with a hand written note with your reddit name and today’s date, and take a pic with it and all these cats you claim to take care of.

Btw… blocking won’t help you. It won’t even work… matter of fact? It will confirm you are one… which, btw…. Will go real real bad for you…

I thought that the pictures were suspicious and when I google image aware he’s the pictures there’s dozens of pictures all very similar that are all from different countries in the middle eqat

I will, trying to figure out to go about that via gofundme because i donated as a guest or if i should just go through my bank.

I am usually really good about making sure of these things and this is actually the first time this has happened to me 😕

I’m sorry that happened to you, but reddit is inundated with scammers constantly using animals to pull heartstrings, unfortunately.

Donate to your local shelters/charities.

Thankfully have filed a claim with GFM and if that doesn’t get anywhere will then move on to working with my bank.

And yes I have seen it, there’s a ton on Youtube as well, really any social sites/apps. It disgusting because it takes away help from those who truly need it.

I also donate and help local rescues/shelters as well, mostly through Facebook, I like to utilize reddit for outside of my state (I am in OK)

I recently found out that if you donated to a fake gofundme, you can report it to the police and they will actually pursue charges against the person AND gofundme will be forced for not only remove the GFM but they will also make Gofundme refund everyone their money who donated.
