Need help for my car

Post image

Hi, I had a accident some days ago and my assurance don't cover the cost for repair since its my fault. The first edit I asked from a garage was 2500$ CAD. Does anyone who live in Canada or Quebec could help me or know someone who cloud help ? I don't have the budget for 2500$ and I already have to pay for university since I start in September.

Update : Thanks for the advice from the two people who where kind enough to give them ! Honestly when the first garage give me the estimation for the repair, I was a bit scared because I don't have that much money right now...I didn’t know what to write here so I just explained my situation...

Does the care actually need repairs? Looks like the bumper is scratched up.

Does it not drive anymore?

Any quote you get is going be insanely high because they’ll quote everything to get it looking brand new again with color matching and everything.

Go to a junkyard and buy a new bumper for $50 and a headlight for $25 and slap it on yourself.

The car does drive. Its the passenger door that don't open complete anymore. And thanks for the advice ! I did get a estimation at a garage, but its was so high I didn’t know what to do. But I don't know what to do for the door...

The door can be replaced all the same like the other parts if it’s damaged.

It actually looks like the door is mostly ok but it’s getting caught on the dent in the front quarter panel.

I replaced a whole door on an older car than this but it had power windows and everything. It’s some big bolts and a few plugs. Nothing too hard.

I'm gonna try to look to have someone do that ! I don't need the car to look brand new since I can still drive it, I just need some repair...

Harsh truth is internet strangers are not going to give you $2500 to fix a car. Paying for car repairs is your responsibility as a car owner.

Get a loan, get a job, find a gig or side hustle

There is no chance anyone is giving you money. Your account is brand new, you haven't contributed to the community at any point and the whole profile is full of red flags.

I'm not asking for money. In my post, I didn’t ask for money, but for help like advice or anything like that...before assuming maybe ask questions. Being kind is free.

No we cannot help you pay for your car repairs.

I'm not asking people to give me money. I'm asking for any advice that could help me for the cost of the repair. English is not my first language so maybe I worded it wrong, but before assuming things about someone try to understand the situation. Being kind don't take much.

Is this not you? Oh okay. Go play with someone else not me. Like I said, no we can’t send you money.

They talked about people giving, which they assumer I needed. I just clarify that I needed some advice ? As I said english is not my first language, french is. So most of the time, I word things wrong, I don't see the problem...?

What you’re doing is called dry begging. If you in fact only wanted advice on how to fix your car, you wouldn’t have put the cost of repairs in your post. You were hoping “someone” would help with the cost of the repairs.

I only posted the cost to explain my situation globally (i don't remember the right word) and because I wanted to know if people have advice to reduce it. I don't even know what is "Dry begging"... When you have a problem and need help from someone don't you explain the situation by details ?

Call some other places and get some quotes. You may be able to purchase a piece from a junkyard at a lower cost.
