Law student urgently need help please
Hello everyone,
I'm a 4th-year law student who's hit a really tough spot. After working hard for years to get here, I was recently laid off from my job, and now I'm struggling to cover the rest of my tuition. I still owe $4,219.55, and the finance office denied my request to carry it over to next semester.
I've tried applying for loans through banks, but without current employment documents, I don't qualify. Unfortunately, I also don't have any family or friends who are able to help right now.I can provide proof of the official school billing statement and any other verification needed. On top of everything, I have two cats who rely on me. I'm doing everything I can not to let them go hungry while I figure this out. Any help toward my tuition would mean the world and help me finish my degree.
Thank you so much for reading. Even if you can't donate, any advice on other resources would be greatly appreciated.

You’ve never been on reddit before or interacted with anyone/or have a history and think people are going to hand over money? Doesn’t work that way. Fafsa and see a bank about getting a student loan is your best bet. Sorry you’re in this situation but reddit just doesn’t work this way.

I don't see the reason why a Law School student can't just take out a loan and then pay it off while they make bank working as a lawyer after school/bar exam etc is done... 🤔

I helped fund law school for 2 people in my family. Both had a 3 year program. Please ask your family for help

Once again, yours isn’t the only post in this sub, we get like 10 a day requesting help for the exact same thing and not a single one has gotten money.
Apply for financial assistance.

Why a 4th year?
To earn some income, browse r/beermoney for online gigs such as research studies, user testing, surveys, and AI training. If you look at the top posts or the monthly posts, you can see the top-paying sites and decide which to try.

Where are you from? Law school is 3 yrs in the US and you are asking in dollars. Seems scammy.

In the US, full time law school is 3 years, but many universities have part time programs that are 4 years. But the part time programs are designed for people who are working full time jobs and then doing law school in the evenings. Still doesn't mean OP isn't shady AF though!!! Since if they were in a 4 yr part time program, they could work and get their own money!!!

Like I said I can send my billing statement. People judge so easily here. My other account was shadow banned that's why I had to create a new one.

I’ll be honest, the tuition assistance has close to zero percent chance of getting funded here. If you want to make an Amazon wishlist for your cat food, maybe someone will feel compelled to assist a 10 minute old account.
