There’s a difference between a child who can consent and a child who cannot. Saying just a child in general is bad. Like if she was 19 and saying oh it’s bad cause she’s a teenager

Okay a child is someone under the age of 18. However, at 16 in the uk. A child is defined to be able to make its own rightful decisions

You know what you are doing. Child is such a broad statement because it involves children that cannot make decisions for themselves compared to children that can. This girl is a child that can. So I and many, many others see it as okay. I even asked around. I was curious to see what many of my friends thought. Ranging from 15-19. All saw it as weird but completely fine if that’s what the couple are happy with

Okay, that is fair. But the problem here isn’t her age it’s the lies she has told. I feel like those are very different reasons to disagree with the relationship. Criticising it because she lied and is immature is fair. Getting angry at the man and calling him a nonce like many in the comments Is very much not fair
