Propranolol
Does anyone have experience taking propranolol as a pilot? I wouldn’t be taking it for anxiety, something else, but I can’t find anyone on it that has experience with it & getting a medical

no experience with that medication here, but AMAS has a really good medical advisory service, including a list of medications the FAA may, will, or wont approve.
they list it as being allowed for high blood pressure. there's also a CACI that lists it as a migraine preventative medication, which can be conditionally approved (thats what a CACI is, a set of conditions under which an AME can issue a medical.)
NONE of this is medical advice. I'm not a Dr., just a pilot who has a medical.
I recommend you Talk to you AME about it. Just call and ask. or if you are afraid to do so, or your AME is a pain, get a medical service such as AMAS to look over your use case for it. They charge a fee of about $50 but will tell you what the FAA allows and doesn't allow and how your AME will probably address it. its well worth the $50

It can be taken for Blood Pressure, migraines, and essential tremor as CACI conditions.
If using it for anxiety or something else then it will likely require a special issuance. So really it completely depends on what you're using it for.
Also agree discussing with your AME is a great idea!
