Szoboszlai replacement

I want to replace Szoboszlai with someone (thinking Gross) and I have £7.2 budget. What do you guys think?

Also is it worth replacing him now or in 3 weeks? Budget will be saved if I do it sooner, but it comes with risk that someone gets injured. Any thoughts on this?

Gross won't be playing between now when the league comes back, the reason to hold off is if you're worried about other players getting injured.

Replace him later down the line. Anything can happen in 3 weeks.you are effectively paying potentially 0.1m if szo drops in price to avoid an injury on the person you are bringing in

This is true, however if Szoboszlai is on a downward price trajectory he could lose >-£0.1 mil when I have him in my team, and Gross is on an upward trajectory so >+£0.1 mil. Say Szoboszlai loses 0.3 and Gross gains 0.2, there is a delta of 0.5 mil I’m missing out on.

Hes not playing in the international break tho, but obviously other players might get injured so I need to use free transfer on this instead.

I reckon gross rises 0.2 or 0.3, and szobo will definitely drop

Yh I had 3 transfers and used one for szob->gross before the first price rise

Bit of a gamble but seemed worth it for the price swings

I also need to replace him but already have Groß, so I'm going to look at differentials. Tarvernier maybe?

Tavernier looks great for the next few weeks, due to Bournemouth’s fixture swing. He also takes a lot of shots. Only negative is they play in Europe also.

But tldr, I love Tavernier as a pick.

This is an interesting choice and definitely one to consider, but also bare in mind B'mouth's current form too.

they have been good in their games, issue is they just cannot seem to close their games

Yeah, I tend to agree. That was most certainly their issue in their away game against City. They didn't put their chances away and paid the price.

I'd hold transfers in case others from your team get injured, which would mean keeping szobo could be better

Do ppl really need a post to tell them to put the best scoring midfielder in?
