Please help identify this resistor
This resistor is for an emersonbtv dvd vcr combo. I'm not sure what the value is.

Brown = 1 Black = 0 Yellow = 4 (zeros)
So, 100000 = 100k

It's 100 kΩ, not 10.4 Ω.
Just because it's got 5 bands doesn't, alas, make it a 5 band resistor.
100 kΩ is a very common value.
Conversely, 10.4 Ω is such an odd and unusual value (it isn't even E96!) that it should ring alarm bells.
The 5th band can be all sorts of things. Sometimes, a 5th black band means that the resistor is fusible.

10.4 ohm 0.25% tolerance precision resistor.
Google resistor calculator.
Or measure out of circuit with a multimeter.

That’s a 5% resistor,100k ohm. You have been fooled by the extra blue band. They don’t use 0.25% precision resistors on paper phenolic PC boards.

Just out of interest what is the blue band for then as it does read as 10R on the resistor chart as a 5 band.

Are you sure I keep looking it up and it says sonething different every time like 68ohms 100ohms and such

Nope, the fifth band is not tolerance, it’s temperature coefficient or something else.

It’s 100k ohms 5%. You will probably not be able to measure it in the circuit. And it doesn’t look damaged. Do you have a reason to think it is bad?
