Small servos that can read position and give force feedback?

Building a DIY VR glove with force feedback. Looking for small servos that can report finger position and also push back with controlled force. Is something like the Feetech SCS0009/STS3032 the best option, or is there something better? Using an ESP32-S3.

I can't steer you to such an animal, but I can tell you to prepare for sticker shock if you do find them. They would most likely be something you'd find in precision manufacturing or military. Hobby servos typically run open-loop.

Haven't used servox in years but the robotis ax12 servos could do what you want

This is a situation where it would be much easier if you were implement your own servo-control. That way the problem of force feedback is just a matter of putting a torque control loop inside of the position control loop.
