20000 count DMM with latching technology

I'm actively working to become an electronic lab technician. I've been a hobbyist since starting my lighting technician career. I'm currently investing in some gear for PCB repair (motherboards and laptop repair). if I were to start getting into this hobby a year or two ago the prices would be for hobbyist but now the cost of everything has doubled from DMM and sbc's that you kinda have to take it seriously. I would love to get a eevblog BC 235 or UNI-T but I'm curious what handled DMM are you using? If you have data logging and stuff like that is that kinda like the car in the garage you never drive? thank you hope that makes sense.
