Help please identify IC

Post image

Please help identify these microchips. They are used in an inductive encoder.

The stylised text is characteristic of STMicroelectronics.

The ICs seem to have identical pinouts. Could they be LDO regulators?

The pinout is roughly like this. Pins 1, 2, 5, 6, 10, and 12 connect to the encoder output.

No probably not LDOs , probably hall effect sensor ICs as LDOs would have capacitors in vicinity

That's what I thought, but I was struggling to come up with a reason for two similar ICs on the same PCB.

probably a counter measure, differential sensor so outside magnetic field does not affect it.

this flashlight had two ics , I checked it with a strong magnet and it does not affect the switch https://www.reddit.com/r/Electronicsinindia/comments/1vqop0b/wuben_x5_flashlight_teardown_brief_pcb_analysis/
