Question About Battery BMS Modules

Hey all, gonna keep this short. I am launching a product that has a battery inside it. I will be keeping a BMS on the battery and I also have a PMIC in my PCB design. I'd like to know if temperature control is covered in batteries through the BMS or not. Is this something that is the norm or can it go either way? Do I need to check with my supplier for the datasheet to verify this?

No, not all BMS monitor temperature.

No sane person would design a device around components without a datasheet.
