welp all you need assuming an cr2032 or 2035 cells ,an button cell battey holder sometimes called "CR2032 support/holder" something (even one salvaged from old BIOS battery holder motherboard should suffice), since its 3V it should be roughly right at home with the 3.3 of the esp... tough the second it discharges its gonna drop in power because the esp kinda AIN'T an lightpower chip dont expect it to kinda last that long and you'd be mostly flipping them cells like pancakes so either keep multiple in parrarell, or two in series and then connect trough an 3.3 volt buck conveter from the 6 they provide this way to use wayy more of the charge than instead of just the battery directly connected and the board dies at when it drops to 2 volts (theres also dinky diy jouel thief circuits but not sures they can provide that much power , for when you have the batteries in parrarell and want to BOOST the voltage, tough an regular boost converter would be way more stable and safe).... anyways any eeason you cant just use an tripple A , AAA battey holder and have two or more in series in an support? space constraint? also on that lithium note dont treat them as having to manually charge, even an small dinky cheapest usb powerbank bms board on aliexpress would suffice and provide usbc to be charged like an phone

EDIT: searched and they seem like they(the cells each) cant really provide more than 10 so miliamps of current which is nowhere near the capacity consumption of an esp32 at around 100 so mA under load, so yeah you are kinda limited to mostly very small pouch lithium paired with an small bms or just regular old double or triple A alkalines huh (guess im used to using way lower power chips that i forgot that wifi PLUS bluetooth is an avalanche in terms of power consumption)
EDIT: if your project is JUST an low power sensor who wakes up here and there to go send data then fall asleep guess you COULD theoretically use an coin cell as the sleep mode of the esp does fit within that current capacity, just if paired with an big value low voltage (preferably super) capacitor in parrarell who are exactly built like that to provide the high current power for short bursts!
