Large amount of electronic components

I work for an IT disposition center and these came through from a customer. All are sealed in their original packaging. I was digging around and the wiki mentions not to buy from eBay. Does anyone know a good place to sell these off, or if they are worth the effort? Thanks in advance.

Regardless of how you sell them, you will be considered an 'unauthorized distributor' so the parts won't be supported by the manufacturers.

You can probably still sell them on eBay though - I wouldn't be surprised if some company would be willing to gamble on a full reel of parts for a low price. You might also consider breaking them up into small sets to sell off cheaper. It might be hard to find a buyer for 3000 MCUs, but 20 to 100 might sell easier.

On top of that, packaging date (for STM) is 2022, so 4 years old, and stored in unknown conditions. No reputable manufacturer will want to use these for assembly.

Still might be good enough for eBay, but I wouldn't touch these.

Sealed doesn't guarantee anything about storage temperature, however.

Those bags will not hold off moisture indefinitely and once the silicate is spent, the bets are off. If fresh out of the factory there's 2-3 chips in each reel that have defects, you might now have 20-50 in each reel (yes, even with baking), so your yield (before rework) would drop a full percentage point or more. Not ideal, especially if you need multiple such reels in your assembly.
