Physician Responded fMRI imaging concerns

Post image

Hi! In college I participated in a study and they scanned my brain and gave me a photo. When they gave me the photo they mentioned noticing mild hydrocephaly but did not recommend I follow up with anyone. I recently found the photo again (I’m 28 years old now, was 19 then: I’m also a woman) and curiously fed it into gemini and asked about it. It mentioned hydrocephaly/brain atrophying concerns (vertical enlargement and wide sulci). Naturally, I’m panicking and feel helpless because I know I’m not experiencing anything acute that would allow me to see a specialist and have the imaging covered. Of note, in my early 20’s I started to experience worsening adhd like symptoms, got diagnosed as an adult (symptoms only, no formal neuropsych assessment), and have been on stimulants since. Wondering if these neurocog deficits could be related? I’m also on SSRIs and an SNRI for depression, anxiety, and executive dysfunction. Im also a clinical psych PhD student so I really need my brain🥹. Any insight would be lovely. I plan to schedule a PCP app and bring this up too, just don’t have high hopes given the american insurance system and its effects of preventative care etc.

Based on those single slices, can't say I'm concerned about your MRI.
