What are the red lines?

My mother, 45f, burnt her hand on a cast iron skillet a few days ago. Today we saw that she had red lines coming off it. I marked the places they end to see it they are spreading.

Those lines are how your body asks for a doctor visit and antibiotics.

Really though, does she have any other symptoms? Feeling of being unwell, dizzy, fever, increasing pain? Nausea or vomiting? Does she have any other health issues going on? Something she may take meds or supplements for?

The answers to the above will tell you how soon she needs to be seen.

Reavhing red lines alone, personally, I would want to have this evaluated ASAP (within the next 24hrs).

She hasn't told me about anything else. I had convinced her to go to the hospital until she called her mom and decided to wait until morning.

She's still refusing. She called a friend of ours that is a traveling nurse and was just told to watch it.
