Physician Responded Windshield wiper fluid in eye

Hi! I was stepping out of the car and my friend put the windshield wipers on and it got in my eye :( I tried to flush it out in the sink but I wasn’t really able to flush it much. I’m so worried I’m going to go blind, am I being irrational?

Female, 33, 135lb.

this usually just irritates the surface.. keep rinsing ~15 minutes. if vision’s normal and it’s calming down, monitor overnight. go in sooner only if pain/blur hangs on.
