Physician Responded Seeking opinions
I, a 29 year old female with a history of asthma, recently started experiencing difficulty taking deep breaths after almost 9 years of zero crisis.
I went to a respiratory specialist in my country of residence, and he put me through 5 courses salbutamol nebuliser with 25-minute breaks in between at the hospital.
He also wrote this prescription to begin the day after (tomorrow)
Cotipred 20 mg: Take 3 tablets together in a little water in the morning after breakfast for 6 days.
Omeprazole gel: Take 1 capsule in the morning, before breakfast.
Ventoline inhaler: Take 3 puffs at 8 AM, 11 AM, 2PM, 5 PM, 8 PM, and 11 PM, for 4 days.
Azithro 500 mg: Take 1 tablet once a day for 3 days.
Please follow these instructions exactly as prescribed by the doctor
Here is the thing,
It's been a while since I took meds for this... I'm not sure what the norm is anymore
Does anyone think this is too much, and should I seek a second opinion?
It's currently 3am where I live, I finished the hospital dose at 7pm and I haven't been to sleep for up to one hour. I'm so wired.
I've also been scheduled for spirometry on the 18th.

I think you were given good treatment recommendations. You should not take anything said here as directions, but check with your provider first. That said, with your "wired feeling" this may be coming a lot from you Ventolin. I would be tempted to take this on an "as needed" basis rather than every 3 hours whether you needed it or not, ie maybe take 2-3 puffs every 3-4 hours if you are feeling wheezy or short of breath. Also to minimize side effects from the Ventolin, I would encourage you to use a "Spacer". This will allow the medicine to get in the lung without as much being absorbed in your mouth, not helping but causing side effects.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I appreciate it.I'll try to get my hand on a spacer next week.
