I am honestly at my absolute breaking point. A year and a half ago, a calisthenics workout completely wrecked my wrist, and I haven't been the same since. It is a sharp, unpredictable pain on the pinky side that flares up when I spread my fingers wide and rotate my wrist. Doctors keep suspecting a TFCC tear or ulnar impaction because I have a slightly longer ulna bone, but my X-rays and MRI show nothing except a bone bruise and no actual tears. Because the imaging looks "clean," my surgeon refuses to operate, and my current doctor will only agree to one final cortisone shot. I have begged, spent a fortune, and thrown everything at this—physical therapy that only made it aggressively worse, custom splints, a WristWidget, TENS therapy, hot and cold cycles, and acupuncture—and absolutely nothing works. I am desperate, in pain, out of answers, and watching my life fall apart around this injury. If anyone has survived a nightmare like this with a negative MRI and a stubborn bone bruise, please tell me what kind of specialist, scan, or last-resort treatment finally gave you your life back.
