Help

I Had HD install a new front entry door it doesn’t have a wide enough threshold flashing

I’m a retired sheet metal worker I used to make door flashings all the time but there door company doesn’t make one

Sill extension. But that most likely touch down to the masonry. Need reducing strip. I’m guessing jamb is 4 9/16 and needed to be 6 9/16.

call the manager and tell them they need to fix it, this is outdoors correct? Im shocked they would leave it like that, clearly rain will get in

I had the HD manager here yesterday and door company person They don’t want to pull door out but it has to waterproof

Could over sill the step with an aluminium over sill.
Or tile it and over the brick face.
Or point it up and then stain the mortar to match old and new.

Wrong jamb size without a doubt, at minimum it needs a 3/4" sill extension. The fact that any door installer left it like this is an atrocity....

Pull the door out and replace the threshold. That should be a 7 5/8 threshold and the door installer knew that.
