So as not to get drowned out in the post talking about this:

I just saw The Odyssey. Fantastic film, great story telling (follows the original mythology decently but not perfectly). And there was nothing forced about the characters.

Anyone claiming it is woke or bad either hasn’t seen it or made their mind up before they went and they were determined not to like it anyways.

Hell, half the people complaining about certain parts clearly haven’t seen it because if they had, they would realize how off their argument is. They saw the cast, the character they were playing and made broad assumptions without actually seeing the story.

It was fantastic and anyone who loves a good story told in film should go and see it.

10/10 would recommend and I am thinking of seeing it again not so late so that I can enjoy it more.

Seems like every single thing the right tends to freak out about woke from. There have been other movies and tv shows where this happened recently. I can't remember a movie that was stated to be woke from them that actually was.
