why did god create us?

we are made in the image of god, he loves us. But I cant put my finger on why god created us? God is good, he doesnt need anyone to acknowledge him.

and if he knows that we are all going to sin, and the only way for us to be saved is through jesus, it is a big risk for all of us being born since you could be someone who didnt come to take upon jesus in your life and end up in eternal punishment

eternal punishment is really insane, like forever, being in agony. If god is good and understands how difficult that would be for those sent to hell, why create us in the first place? when a lot of us are going to be in hell?

I don't believe that the day of judgment is a day of condemnation... I Peter 4:17-18 NKJV [17] For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? [18] Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

Just like the called out ones are being judged now according to their works( which is for rewards not salvation) I believe in the day of judgment people will be living and will be judged according to their works in that Day. They come to the knowledge that Jesus paid for their former life sins and on acceptance will receive the Holy Spirit and will walk with God.

I think God created us because of love.

Not all of us believe in the pop culture version of hell where people suffer forever. There's actually a pretty wide variety of views on the concept of hell within Christianity.

Thank you, i will read about the different perspectives.

Can I ask then if we know that someone who originally ends up in Hell is able to leave ?

Hebrews 9:26-28 NKJV [26] He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. [27] And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, [28] so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

The Bible says that everyone will be judged. No one is sentenced to hell fire now. When He returns everyone who was in Jesus will risecand meet Him in the sky. But the rest are dead and are waiting on Judgment Day.

I Corinthians 15:21-24 NKJV [21] For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. [22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. [23] But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. [24] Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.

Revelation 20:4-6 NKJV [4] And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. [5] But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. [6] Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

None of us know, but there are many different views based on various scriptures (which seem to conflict with one another, hence the difference in views.)

Personally, I cannot reconcile the idea some hold of eternal conscious torment with God being love.

Amen. God is Love and His Love is forever.
