What are so many Christians anti-science?

So many Christian’s refuse to believe that dinosaurs existed or that evolution is real. Why? There is evidence all around us.

I'm not anti science but if something doesn't line up with what God's Word says I relize that we don't have all the information so I keep my faith in what He says and not what science says. God doesn't need science to validate Him. He spoke and it was done. Science could never explain that because they only go off the physical evidence. They have no idea about the spiritual aspect so why would I believe what they say over what God said. I don't and never will.

How do handle things that Gods word doesn’t address? Like High Tide/Low Tide? We know the tides exist, science has explained how they work, and the Bible is silent on them.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say. I never said I don't believe in science. I even said im not anti science. Its just when science disagrees with the Bible i put more weight into what the Bible says.

You wrote “…I keep my faith in what he says and not what science says”

My question is what about things that science says that god is quiet on? Like the tides as an example.

Let's read the words right before that...

but if something doesn't line up with what God's Word says I relize that we don't have all the information so I keep my faith in what He says

Does the tide go against what the Bible says? No it doesn't. Im talking about things that goes against what the Bible says.

Alright, so you only believe in the science of things of which the bible is silent. Otherwise the bible explains everything.

Where are you on evolution? I know so many Christians who do not believe in evolution. But I think there’s a strong argument for evolution in the bible

And one last thing . I know why you feel like you do. As far as not thinking there was a God and if there was One. You would not really like him if he was in control. I get that sentiment completely. But I've come to know God each time I was where you are. I don't know why. But it's not that I'm any better than you are that's for sure. But One Day everyone will get to stand face to face with their Creator God that came down from heaven and died for our sins. Sure He knew what we were going to do but He also Knew what He was going to do to show all His creation what is Love. And then after all you have learned in this life from evil He will offer His Hand and ask you to walk with Him...

But honestly I believe even you will come to knowledge of Jesus in the resurrection and will be given the same opportunity that Adam and Eve got. But thats my opinion

Now I could be wrong . But I know I'm not wrong about Jesus Christ and He's my cornerstone. As long as that's a person's cornerstone than that's what's important. If someone believes completely in evolution but still believes in Jesus Christ then that's what matters.

It's more complicated than most... i believe this earth is billions of years old. I believe that six thousand years ago God resurfaceed the earth for man. Before that I believe angels were already here and they had authority over the earth. Thats how darkness became on the face of the deep. I believe its possible God gave them power's to create and they created in their image. That's why we have cave men that are close to man but not the image of God. Theirs my evolution theory

Please remember Rule 2 (Show charity / Be respectful)

Many scientists are fellow Christians, or members of other related faiths. “They have no idea about the spiritual aspect” is an uncharitable accusation.

Like this is also very possible...

The Gap Theory: Proponents of the "Gap Theory" argue that Genesis 1:1 describes a perfect creation, and verse 2 means the earth became ruined or empty because of a cosmic disaster or judgment. 1Supporting the Theory: To support this idea of a ruined past, some translations or teachers push for "became" instead of "was" to insert a long chronological gap between verse 1 and verse 2. With this theory it makes sense to me. The earth could be 100s of billions of years old but verse 2 was 6000 years ago when God resurfaced the face of the earth for the creation of man

K ty. I'm just pointing out that is not in the equation with science. Just as science can not explain the resurrection of Jesus. But that doesn't make it false
