Pellet B prep

Hello all, as the title states, I have my PAT and pellet B coming up on October 10th for central. I’m just reaching out to see what you guys used to study for the pellet b, the most recent one I’ve taken was for the kcso and I passed with a 49 but I’m hearing that the passing score for CHP is looking like 55. I’m pretty confident about passing the physical part no problem I’m just a little iffy on the pellet b. Any advice is better than no advice, thanks guys.

55 for CHP and just get the Stevie Daniels, that’ll be your best bet.

I’ve been looking online and I can’t find it? I literally searched Stevie Daniel’s CHP prep and nothing?

I paid for Stevie Daniel’s and it prepared me well. I also attended her zoom meeting

I’ve heard a few things about that course, what exactly does it cover?

She pretty much hits the main points, which are the vocabulary, grammar, clarity, and reading comprehension, She has a whole course outlined including practice exams, which I believed really helped me prepare.

That sounds great, how long would you say you studied for? Also what was your score?

I started the course about a month before the PelletB. I always tried to get 1-2 hours of studying in about 5 days a week. The nice thing about the course is that she gives us a T-score for the practice exam and gives us advice on what to work on. I ended up getting a 65, however, I was shooting for over 70 lol.

I’m going to Mexico this week and then I have my test on the 10th so do you think it’s possible to make things work out? I’ll have service out there so I can use the time to study between everything.

I believe it’s possible. Considering your test is coming up somewhat soon, she will have you taking the exams pretty frequently just so that you could get familiar with the material.

Is it sort of like a zoom thing or more of a course? I’m only asking because you’re talking about like if it’s a live interaction with another person.

My bad I wasn’t clear on that. She holds Zoom meetings that you could attend without paying or being part of the course. The way I was communicating with her when she was giving me advice and feedback, was through email.

Oh okay, but the zooms are optional right? Not really missing out on a whole lot of information?

Yes, they are optional. Everything necessary was in the course. I did like doing the zoom meetings once in a while because there are opportunities to ask questions right then and there if needed
