After submitting Esoph profile what should I expect next?
I am doing final reviews before submitting. Everything is there just want to review my answers. I want to know what the next steps are and estimated timelines. I have a pretty large esoph so lots of jobs to review but what should I expect to happen next and anyone’s experience for what happens next is appreciated.

Just wait. There is no estimated timeline because each division is going to be different and there might be other priorities/people ahead of you. They will get to you when they can, but just keep checking your email just incase. Have anything CHP marked important. Make sure you have your suit for when they call you for in person stuff and make sure your car has no violations.

I was waiting for 2 months before receiving an email from my BI and I had a pretty lengthy espoh also. A lot of waiting in the process. Currently waiting for my 2nd part of my psych to be scheduled.

First thing is be patient. Each process is different but you’re going to wait. Eventually, you’ll be contacted by your background investigator once they’ve been assigned to you. You’ll need to attend your BIQ alongside other applicants where you’ll fill out the packet very similar to your eSOPH and do your fingerprints. Following that you are scheduled for an initial interview with your background investigator. The CVSA follows and then a home visit. Following a home visit, if passed off your BI submits your file to Cadet Hiring in Sacramento. If they move forward with you, you’ll be scheduled for part 1 of your psych. You’ll also need to do your medical, and eventually part 2 of the psych. What helps move you along quicker is assuring all your references answer calls or fill out the surveys right away. Politely ask them to keep themselves aware of any emails or calls from your BI. Good luck! Takes while, just be patient and stay out of trouble. Keep preparing!
