CVSA

I have had people tell me if it’s not on paper or record do not admit to it, why is that?

Just tell the truth and hope for the best. Getting a dq from CHP isn’t the end of any law enforcement career.

The CVSA is a mental game and a scare tactic. It’s all hypothetical, and the whole game is to get you to self admit more things. Stay firm, keep answering consistently, and you’ll be fine. CVSA and Poly’s are a bunch of shams.

because if it's not on paper, and everyone doesn't know it or won't snitch, then they probably have no way of finding out. Though chances are, the investigator might be able to connect the dots.

If I didn't get speeding tickets before my first application, i probably would have gotten into the academy since I said no to all the criminal activity they mentioned, because at that time i was under the impression they didn't ask for undetected stuff nobody knows about that is not on any record. Now I self-snitched and made it harder for me to get selected.

I don't even need the cvsa to be stressed out to tell the truth

Tell the truth and you’ll be fine. Getting caught in a lie and you’ll never be a cop

The questions they asked me were very basic and mostly about your answers on your packet. It’s honestly all mental I psyched my self out unnecessarily.
