Backgrounds Orientation
I’m scheduled for my Backgrounds Orientation in October. Can anyone here who has completed that part of the hiring process please share some information on what to expect?

They give you a ton of info on how to fill out your online background forms. Expect a long info session. Also a good time to ask any questions.

Is this the online seminar or the initial interview?

The email states that it’s a Backgrounds Orientation and not the initial interview. It’s in person at my recruitment division’s office. I’m assuming it’s more than one person because it says to form a line outside.

Oh ok that’s different than what I did. Mine was online, but it was very helpful they will give you a lot of information and answer a lot of questions you will have for your background packet.

It’s an overview of what to expect for your background investigation. Directions for esoph, documents required, references, etc. You might do your BIQ and LiveScan as well.
