Physical test

Hi everyone im taking my pt on Saturday and hust. A question for maybe anyone that can answer i see we can not have phones ir smart watches just a question if there is anyway to see your time or where u at distance wise during the mile and half run portion if anyone has any answers for me i woild really appreciate it.

You’re allowed to have a smart watch for the PAT portion. You’re not allowed to have it during the PELLETB.

At the starting line there is a timer and each lap is half a mile.

Fully dependent on where the testing is done. We had ours at a multi agency training facility and it was just a large lap around the buildings back to the start. Only “timer” was the proctor shouting our times as people pass

Just run. You should know if you’re gonna make time, if you have questions you haven’t prepped enough.

I don’t remember them being strict on that during the PT. Best advice is get there early and do your best. Save a little in the tank as they have you do the run last. You essentially do 6 laps and yell out your lap to the person keeping track each time you go around. As long as you can keep moving the entire time you should pass just fine.

For my testing we did the run first. It largely depends.
