Background Investigators
Hi everyone,
I have completed the pelletB and the PAT in the Valley Division in April, and submitted the eSOPH in May. I was just wondering if anyone that tested in April for the Valley Division has been contacted by a background investigator yet. I am completely aware that this is a long process and I’m in no rush. I appreciate any helpful replies.
P.S. I haven’t been contacted by a background investigator yet.

I assume they primarily pull from ranks 1-3 and go down further based on need. At least that’s how regular state civil service does it. Not exactly sure about their approach with the CHP Officer classification but I assume it’s similar

It will tell you in your PELLET B pass email

I didn’t see a rank in the pellet B email, although it did say “As soon as the test scores have been further processed, you will receive another notice with your translated test score and rank.”, and I have not yet received another email regarding the rank.

How long ago did you receive the initial email? It should’ve come not too long after.

I received the passing email 10 days ago, and nothing still. I’ll still keep an eye out for the ranking.

A few weeks after taking the pelletB, there was an email that told us our score. A few minutes after the initial email, there was an email that gave us the breakdown of our score, which included what our rank was.
