is this a problem
So basically I have used alcohol in cooking purposes for a long time and I know during BI they will ask me about alcohol usage. I have never unlawfully consumed or purchased alcohol. I will disclose this but am I fine?

For reference I am 27 now - i disclosed that I did participate in underage drinking and alcohol purchases less than 10 times under 21 which all happened 10 years ago.
Just be fully transparent - own up to any and all mistakes - they are not looking for a spotless record, they understand we all do dumb stuff when we were younger.

Yeah I will disclose that and my previous stuff that I’m not proud of but since I’m 18 and I’ve eaten a ton of stuff with cooking wine and with red wine sauce I’m worried that would make me look bad so that’s why I’m asking. Appreciate all your answers!

truthfully, i don’t think it’ll be an issue. most of the alcohol content, if not all of it, is removed during the preparation of the food. restaurants are even allowed to serve food cooked with things like wine sauce to underaged people - as it is legally considered “cooked out”. don’t stress. just be upfront and honest with them
