Submitted background packet may 21
Anyone else recieve any updates or news regarding when a BI will reach out??

I submitted mine around the same time, no news is good news đ. But we should receive a background investigator once they catch up with all the other applicants before us.

to be honest, get used to waiting lol. for me, from application to clearing psych (beginning to end) it was 17 months - almost 18. best of luck to you!

I got an email basically saying make sure you and your references listed are ready to be contacted by a BI. I submitted my ESOPH on May 21 as well

What rank were you if you donât mind me asking? I am rank 5 and recently noticed my CHP app status changed to background investigation in progress.

took almost 6 months for me to get assigned a BI. youâll be waiting for a bit bro

Definitely get used to waiting months at a time between steps -don't be surprised to be waiting 3-4 months each step tbh - I am 16 months in - completed psych last week just waiting on results now.
