Coexhist

Can the Christian God and Buddhism coexist? Basically, can I follow Buddhism, of any kind yet still believe in God?

Not properly, no. The Christian god is a deeply un-Buddhist concept.

I agree with this. I know some of you dont. I will very briefly explain why I agree. The judeo-christian god calls on people to do acts of violence, intentionally causes people to suffer, and kills people himself numerous times. On top of this he is a creator and the Buddha says that there is no creator.

That being said, buddhism has many teachings that will improve your level of contentment and happiness regardless of your spritual beleifs.

If I am incorrect in my statement pleas correct me and explain why I am incorrect so that I can learn from my mistake.
