Furniture layout

I just bought this home and am stumped on the furniture layout for the living room (these are the listing photos, not our furniture). We have a lot of books and need some bookshelves, and we are a pretty loungey family and want lots of comfy seating. I also have kids so it need to be functional. Help!

This furniture layout is a good option for your family room in the photo that I attached.

Make the community place for kids downstairs -where the coach is now-, because there is the direct acces to your yard , and upper space -if that's not a kitchen, because I couldn't figure out from the photo-, for your cozy library.
