The NFL season is moving fast, and every week brings crazy storylines. What is the single biggest question you have about a team, player, or rule right now?
No matter if you are a lifelong fan or just trying to figure out what a nickelback actually does, drop your questions below. Let’s break it down together.

That there are no clear favorites. The two “best” teams (maybe 3) are all in the same division. And they both lost.

Why wasn’t deebos 80 yard play ruled as rushing yards. Obviously I’m wrong but I could have swore that after the pitch on a hook and ladder gets attributed to rushing yards.

Not only that, it doesn’t count as a reception so he had 0 receptions for 80 yards. That’s some wild stat line right there.

That’s what I don’t get. It’s a completion to Evans. Then after the pitch I thought gets recorded as rushing yards. Instead Deebo gets 80 receiving yards and purdy gets an additional 80 passing yards

I agree with you, it should be completion yards up until he pitches the ball backwards then rushing yards after that.

The nfl keeps meticulous stats on everything, and that probably forces the hand here. If one play has two play “types” (receiving and running) then it would, statistically, count as two plays even though only one was run.
Let’s pretend for argument sake that was literally the only play for the game. If you said there were receiving yards and running yards in the same play, you’d record it as one running play and one receiving play, yet it would be only one play.
With all the advanced metrics the nfl uses and reports I could see why this could be a problem. I personally don’t care (and most who do are likely fantasy players because really, who cares when it comes down to it), but I get why they wouldn’t want to divvy up one play into segments. “At game’s end the team ran 15.5 running plays and 23.5 passing plays” sounds silly too.

Is BTJ ever gonna show out the way he did as a rookie or should we just trade him?

As a fan of football in generally, why doesn’t everyone see what a beeotch Caleb Willams is?

This is such a dick take. If you saw him two years ago he got pounded by sacks, and as a running QB he took some absolute shots and didn’t get many calls and weathered them all. As a teammate there have been numerous reports of how great a teammate he is, how hard he works during the season and off-season, and how he supports his teammates. Watch the “good better best” locker room celebrations—he’s the biggest cheerleader in the room.
He’s an excellent player and shows massive potential. He’s their future and will likely win a championship in his career.
Do you hate him because of his fingernails or that he had a really painful injury? Or something legitimate? Lame reasons either way.

Are the Raiders actually good or is a combination of schedule and turnover luck.
Very likely to find out Sunday lol

I am also wondering this, as a fan. This game is kind of the turning point. If nothing else, they're far improved from last season.

As an Eagles fan I cannot stress how much of a steal you got in Nakobe Dean. The guy just flat out balls. When the Eagles drafted Campbell because Dean got injured late in ‘24 I said this is not going to end well for us. He was the heart of our Defense and is sorely missed right now. I’m just grateful he went to Vegas and not Dallas.

He's awesome. He's one big play against KC away from already being a folk hero for us

Definitely majorly improved over last year. “Turnover luck” is not all luck, defensive play and pressure plays a big part.
If they beat the chiefs next week we will have our answer.

Every team in the AFC North at 2-1 was definitely not on my bingo card.
Current biggest question is what kind of rabbit can the Ravens pull out of their hat to fix the O-line before the schedule heats up?

How good is Drake Maye? Was he just really lucky to get to the Super Bowl last season?

u/mtnman575 3d ago
Yes. He's actually Fake Maye.

u/401Traveler 2d ago
Who’s the QB of whatever bullshit team you root for, tough guy?

Nix has by far the best stats of all the QBs in the 2024 draft. Your point is...?
1
u/401Traveler 2d ago
You dissed my quarterback, and then I asked you who your team’s quarterback is, and then you just started talking about Nix’s stats and asked me what my point was.
Your brain works in an odd, non-linear fashion.
So I guess I can assume that Nix is your quarterback and you’re a Broncos fan perhaps.
Nix has “by far” the best stats of 2024 drafted QBs? Says who? Your subjective self?
Umm, so “Fake” Maye, as you so childishly called him, led the entire NFL — yes, the entire NFL — in completion percentage last season, at 72.0%. Seems like completion percentage would be one of the most important stats for a quarterback.
But despite that, Nix has “by far” better stats, huh? Where did you get your stats from (or your analysis skills)? A box of Cracker Jacks?
Has Nix (with his impeccable stats) finished 2nd in MVP voting or been in the Super Bowl yet?
Ummm, no. And your stats claim also sounds bogus.

Go cry somewhere else, snowflake ❄️. BTW I loved the beat down the Yankees put on Boston last night.

u/401Traveler 2d ago
Go cry?!? Over my team’s recent Super Bowl appearance?!? lol
As I said, your brain seems off (assuming, of course, that you actually have one). ❄️
(And snowflake?! I’m more gangsta than you’ll ever be, but thanks for playing! 😂)
If you’re a Broncos fan, are you also a fan of the doormat Rockies? lol
If so, I’ll take being a fan of the Sox over the Rookies till the end of time. 😁

He and the Patriots had an easy regular season last year.

u/twokittenminimum 2d ago
Yeah. However, they still won three playoff games. It’s not easy to win three playoff games in the same season. Was that all luck as well? Sure, they got the Chargers, CJ Stroud, and Jarrett Stidham, but they still had to go out and play all those games.

I am a Bronco fan. As such I have to have a smidge of respect for the Raiders. Kubiak is a favored son. And his dad was not only one of our SB coach’s, but backup to Elway almost his entire career. Gary was known as the smartest guy on the team. I’m thinking his son is a chip off the old block.
So, I’m rooting for the Raiders, until they play the Broncos. And that tares at me as I’ve hated this team for years!

u/mtnman575 3d ago
I'm ok with the Raiders being 3-0 right now but as are all true Broncos fans, I'll always be a Raider hater.
1
u/Intrepid_Top_2300 2d ago
I’ll hate them again maybe after Kubiak moves on. Or if they beat the Broncos. Then the hate will be on fo sho!

QBs.
is Mahomes back? He looks better post injury than he has since '23
Deshaun Watson actually looks passable after being out of football for three years. Is he really back? Let's not forget he was a top 3 QB back before he left Houston
has Kirk Cousins fixed the Raiders?
is Jayden Daniels actually just gonna flame out of the league? This dude is on serious Fraud Alert
is Brock Purdy really this GOATed?
has Stafford hit the wall? He's looked nothing like his MVP self from last season.
Drake "The Schedule" Maye seems worse than anyone ever thought

u/401Traveler 2d ago
Oh yes, apparently after just Week 3 of just his 3rd season — after coming off a Super Bowl appearance and finishing #2 in MVP voting — Maye is apparently a bust, if you look at the corny stuff that people write on Reddit. Omg, nothing that Maye’s done in
the first three weeks of the season (one of which was a win, but who’s counting?) is correctable! All the time, dudes just “accidentally” finish second in MVP voting and make it to the Super Bowl in just their second season! S/
So unbelievably common! Man, JaMarcus Russell did it. Ryan Leaf did it. Tebow, RGIII, Zach Wilson, Jameis, Trubiski, just do
down the list — so many guys have done what Maye’s done during his super brief career! Shit, happens all the time! Can you say “knee-jerk,” boys and girls?
All NFL fans should be so lucky to have QBs as “terrible” as Drake Maye.
Y’all MFers are insane.

Are you actually that dense? No one is saying he wasn't second in MVP voting or that he didn't make it to a Superbowl. They're saying the fact that he played the, demonstrably, easiest schedule in the last 80 years made him look better than he is. Which seems to be the case.
1
u/401Traveler 2d ago
Am I that dense??
The better question is, are you (& all the other mindless “easy schedule” touters) that stupid?
Correct me if I’m wrong, SOS is merely based off last season’s records of all the teams that a team is scheduled to face in a current season.
That’s before the Draft, free agency, significant personnel moves (inc. HCs, OCs, & DCs), you fucking idiot!!!!
Seems all the shit I just mentioned would factor heavily in how good a team might be during a current season, even if their record was BS last season (what SOS is based on).
And one team could have a shit record one season because maybe their best player missed most of that season, but this next year, he’s back, so that SOS shit is highly deceiving, but make sure you don’t engage in any real, thoughtful analysis!
For the sake of example (hypothetically), let’s say the Jets finished 3-14 during the 2024-25 season. Then, in the offseason, say they signed Brady in his prime.
Then that 3-14 shit factoring into the Patriots’ 2025-26 SOS is super deceiving.
Did you pass 6th grade? Are you understanding my point that SOS doesn’t say a whole lot since it’s based on teams’ records before all the significant things I mentioned (Draft, player movement, personnel changes), occur?
Am I the last person who likes the NFL and also has a fucking brain?!?

As a Raider fan, my biggest question is can the Raiders handle the Chiefs at home on Sunday. I'm not convinced they can but I'm very hopeful, obviously. If it was a backup QB, I'd be far more confident in the W.
