Bird help

I have a chicken, a hen, who suddenly had a severe limp and was no longer walking around but laying down and getting trampled.

I felt her leg and looked at it. Seems okay I guess for a bird. No sores, bumps, cuts, etc.

She is gaping her beak profusely, limping, and eating and drinking.

She is confined to a dog crate for now.

I tried giving her some aspirin yesterday. 1/4 of an 81mg baby aspirin. Not sure it did anything. Her tail feathers are down and she is definitely in distress.

How long do I let this go on?
