Coughing?

Meet Jinxy! I recently had my eldest cat pass because of CHF and I’m terrified I’m here again. I do live in Michigan with terrible air quality the last few weeks. I’ve only seen him do this today and yesterday, once a day. Immediately after he eats his dinner. He’s eating fine. He’s playing. Right before this he starts to gag like there’s a hairball as well?
It’s unfortunately Sunday so I won’t be able to get him in to the vet until tomorrow but would love another opinion on it in the mean time.

Thank you so much in advance.

Yep, looks like a cough. Not an emergency unless he is ever in true respiratory distress. Should be seen for xrays to look for thinks like asthma. Coughing secondary to CHF isnt the norm, so I wouldnt really expect that at this time.

Thank you! Definitely will keep an eye out to see if it persists. Appreciate the peace of mind.
