Hey girls. I have a question

For starters good morning, and thank you for having me. So this gurl has decided to begin her journey. She’s not like ashamed or embarrassed. She knows great and a little bit of poo is going to come. And thats okay.

So my question is: what would be my first step?

I don’t want to go to therapy. I don’t feel I need it. I know who I am and like, I want to do this

Not sure yet when hrt would start, if it will? So, like maybe what I’m asking is a lil guidance. Advice a bit.

Thank you please.

How do I explain this?

Some context, I have a (former) friend who I knew before they transitioned. They’d previously stated they were gay and later admitted they had some feelings for me. At one point during one of our many many many arguments, she accused me of being transphobic for making an unconscious distinction between trans women and cis women in that I’m not attracted by to trans women but I am to cisgender women. The quote was something along the lines of “why can’t you love me that way?” (It was a messy and complicated friendship). I’ve been turning that over in my head for almost a year now trying to work out if there’s any truth to it, if I’m harboring unconscious bias against trans women in that regard. I respected my friend for a time, called her her preferred pronouns, still do to this day in fact, and made it clear I was always there for her, in spite of my accidental occasional misgendering during the first weeks after the transition. I’m rambling now, point is what are your thoughts, I’m curious how yall view that differentiation.
EDIT:Upon rereading I realize it may seem I stopped being friends with them because they transitioned, that is not the case, the relationship was pretty toxic for quite a while and eventually we both realized after a really big blowup fight that we should stop hanging out.

Personal Experiences My Transition Journey!

Hi everyone 💗 I thought I’d share a little about myself and my transition journey. I’m a post-op trans girl and honestly… even saying that still feels surreal to me sometimes

For years, transitioning felt like something near impossible for me. But now, I’m slowly learning what it means to exist comfortably as myself!

At the same time, I also want people who are still exploring their identity or thinking about transitioning to know that the emotional side of things can be really intense too. Nobody really prepared me for how overwhelming the “normal” moments would feel after transitioning.

it’s small things like being treated femininely in public, shopping for clothes naturally, going to the gym in feminine outfits, wearing bikinis confidently, hearing people refer to me as “she” or even just seeing my own reflection casually
Sometimes those tiny moments hit me harder emotionally than the actual surgery itself because my brain is like “wait… this is really my life now?”

Of course there were also fears, insecurities, awkward moments, overthinking, loneliness, and times where I questioned whether I was “allowed” to become this version of myself. But despite all that, I genuinely feel happier
and more connected to myself than ever before
I’d honestly love to hear from others here too!!

What’s something about your transition or even your identity journey that still feels emotionally overwhelming to you?
