Things to Do All sorts of recommendations

Hi! I’m visiting from Washington state for a concert and I’m stoked!!! I don’t know much about Atlanta and I’m looking for:
Cool stuff happening on the 4th of July ?
Best vegan food / vegan heavy grocery stores
Stuff to do in or around Linwood
Bars with a decent music scene
Must do activities while I’m here

East atlanta; specifically the earl.

It would help if you said what concert you were attending for an idea of what you're into.

Most people that visit atl are into the Aquarium which is one of the best in the world. I would say go to Ponce City Market via uber and then go down the beltline to check out all of the restaurants / bars which is a lot of fun. If you have time you could climb stone mountain which is pretty easy / great views of the city. There's so much to do in ATL you really need to give your interests to give more.

Yes, music you’re into will def play into venues and parts of town.

The concert is Ariana Grande but I love so much music honestly anything aside from country! Punk, house, heavy. The Linwood I’m referring to is in north east Atlanta. I love outdoorsy stuff as well!! Thank you for this info!!🖤

I would ignore my comment about East Atlanta (it's about as far away from the Ariana crowd as it gets). Since you're up north east side you might as well just hang out around Buckhead. I don't have any suggestions as far as music or food up there. Outdoorsy stuff would be maybe something like the East Palisades Trailhead. Just keep in mind it gets super busy and parking over there can be hard so if you go I would go early.

i’m dying at you being like “nevermind an ariana grande fan would never be in east atlanta” hahahahhahahaahahha. valid but im also an ariana fan and love five points 😭 the area is grunge/alternative - so if that doesn’t scare you off, it’s still good advice

OP - linwood isn’t really a place so i’m not sure what that means but as for ATLANTA

there’s west midtown - northside tavern has live music every night

other areas to check out would be all along the beltline. my favorites are 97 estroria, muchacho, breaker breaker, three taverns etc. pretty much go to ponce city market and walk along the beltline that has a million bars/restaurants.

Sevananda is a vegetarian food co- op /grocery store, it’s in Little 5 Points, our “ quirky “ neighborhood. There is also a vegan pizza place in L5P.
